Nell Mead Physiotherapist

Nell Mead PhysiotherpaistNell became a client of ours in February 2020 when she came to us for support with the admin side of her business. We take her incoming phone calls, and also make outbound calls to her clients.
Nell is based in London near Liverpool Street, but her patients come from all over the world to visit her.
So out of all the physios why choose Nell?
Nell specialises in treating complex and long-term musculoskeletal problems, including sports injuries; and she looks after those who have had or will undergo surgery. She believes in addressing the cause of your problems, not just the symptoms.
She regularly receives referrals from London’s top surgeons and is trusted by some of the world’s best athletes and performers for when they need to be at the top of their game, as well as professionals from all over the globe.
She is the only physio in the world to have completed full training in both the Integrated Systems Model (developed by Diane Lee and LJ Lee in Canada) and the Sarah Key Method (developed by Sarah Key, physiotherapist to the Queen). This training allowed her to develop the unique Health & Performance Pyramid which underpins all her work. She has also undertaken training in craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation.
Nell looks after people at all stages of injury – so whether you’re planning surgery, you’ve had surgery, or you’re hoping to avoid it, the chances are that she can help – or that if she can’t, she’ll be able to recommend someone who can!
Zesty rated Nell “best physio in London for serious injuries and rehabilitation” – she loves a challenge, and is passionate about finding individual, effective solutions to physical problems that affect people’s quality of life.
Basically, she’s pretty good!
Nell hasn’t always worked in her London clinic, her first experiences as a physiotherapist were focused on helping people with extremely demanding jobs. She joined the British Army as a qualified physiotherapist in 2000 and spent ten years taking care of patients with a huge range of injuries, from the mundane to the life altering. Having reached the rank of Major in 2010, she retired from the army in order to share her skills. She then founded the Victory Health & Performance clinic.
Over the last 20+ years of clinical practice and constant study, she has devised a unique approach to caring for and treating the human body. Whether she’s working with a patient who has just undergone major trauma or simply helping someone find a better way to work, her original Health & Performance Pyramid model approaches health from the ground up. For patients who visit her after losing hope of recovery, this model is life changing. For the rest of us, it offers a way to build a solid foundation for optimal health and performance which will affect every aspect of our lives.
When Nell isn’t in the clinic you can probably find her on the tennis court (she is a former Army singles and doubles champion, and current Essex over 40s captain), walking her dog Feta in Regent’s Park, catching up with friends over a gin or playing with her nephew Teddy!
Nell also regularly blogs, about topics ranging from how to prepare for a total hip replacement to how to be happier and more productive! They are all brilliant reads, and we highly recommend you take a look. https://nellmead.com/blog/
