Tails of Rosies & Looby Loo

🐾 Tails of Rosie & Looby Loo – February Adventures 🐾

Rain, Rain and Even More Rain

February has been… damp. Not gentle drizzle damp. Not poetic mist damp. Proper soak-your-paws-before-you-even-step-off-the-patio damp.

The garden has officially transformed into a wilderness reserve. The grass is now approximately six inches high, which means going for a simple wee feels like trekking through the Amazon.Rosie approaches with caution, parting the grass like a sensible explorer.

Looby Loo charges in as if searching for hidden treasure.Mummy keeps muttering about “needing a dry weekend” and “this cannot go on,” but the weather seems not to have received her email. Until further notice, we are jungle dogs.

Uncle Adam & Uncle Dan’s House of Freedom

This month we had an overnight stay with Uncle Adam and Uncle Dan. We packed lightly. By that, we mean we arrived and immediately made ourselves at home.

There were treats. Many treats. Possibly too many treats.
There were cuddles. Unlimited cuddles.
There were… fewer rules.

Rosie maintained a polite and dignified presence, clearly representing the family brand.
Looby Loo tested the structural integrity of every sofa cushion. Thoroughly.

We both agree that overnight stays should always involve excessive snacks and absolutely no mention of “bedtime.”

Freda Rides Again

At long last… Freda was ready.

After what felt like one hundred years of rain, we finally went away for two whole nights. And the sun came out. Actual sunshine. The sort that warms your fur and makes you forgive everyone for January.

It was just as well it was only two nights because Mummy and Daddy had forgotten to put half the things back into Freda after her winter rest. There were several moments of, “Did we pack that?” followed by silence.

The important thing is this:
They remembered our garden fence.
Priorities were correctly aligned.

We had walks, fresh air, new smells, and that lovely caravan feeling of all being squished together in a cosy way. We approve.

Looking Ahead to Taunton

Next month we are going to Taunton. Which means:

Exmoor National Park.
Beaches.
Sand between the paws.
And potentially ice cream.

We have already begun visualising this. Rosie is planning scenic, windswept photographs. Looby Loo is planning strategic crumb acquisition.

If February was about survival through rain and jungle-wees, March will be about adventure.

Until next month,
Stay dry, demand treats, and always check the sofa rules before settling in.

Lots of love and waggy tails,

Rosie & Looby Loo 🐾
