Helping the employees of the future

Over lockdown we have set up our training room to accommodate six staff with social distancing, so starting September we will be offering some lucky youngsters great work experience. What we are offering to our clients and those we love is free work, that these lovely youngsters will do under supervision.
We so proud to be working with Juniper Training who will provide the candidates and support them with all the compulsory maths and English training and other areas of learning as required.
Claire Lawton from Acorns Support will provide the work experience candidates with contracts, advice on how to behave in a work environment and guidance on becoming a great employee.
Tristan Martin from TL Martin will educate them on cyber security in the workplace, the use of passphrases and how to spot fishing emails, all canditates will also undertake a certificated GDPR course. We are also delighted that Mark Northall from MarkNorthall.com will also be joining us to share his knowledge on good and bad social media and how the candidates can even use social media to improve their chances of getting employment.
The I’m Your P.A. team will support the students with tasks such as research, data entry, CRM creation and management, appointment scheduling, call handling and as many other task that we can find them!
At the end of their work placement, which will run for six weeks Sarah Bishop from Recruit Recruit will teach the youngsters how to create an amazing CV to showcase their learnings, this will make them stand out from the crowd when applying for jobs and apprenticeships. I am also hoping that we will be able to keep at least one of them in a role with I’m Your P.A.
How you can help
We are looking for businesses that have work and projects that we can use for the work experience candidates, there will be no charge for the work completed. We will be supplying all the computer equipment, and everything will be done under strict supervision and GDPR guidelines.
The project will commence in September and I am hoping this will be an ongoing project with Juniper Training where we as an organisation can give back to our local community by preparing our school leavers for the world of business.
